Treasurer’s Report: balance is $1686.07 after giving each teacher $100 for classroom supplies.
Nature Center: join us for a work day on Tuesday, October 26th from 3:00 pm – 6:00 p.m. to trim trees and shrubs and freshen trails with wood chips. Bring your yard equipment (shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows)! Call Mrs. Meller for details.
Committee Sign up: Descriptions of each event are available on the PAC website. If you are interested in a committee event, please contact Melissa Westemeier. No obligation to sign up on a committee event.
Fall Flag Football: Each Saturday PAC sells concessions outside the MultiPurpose room. If you can help during a shift, please contact Wendy Cropsey.
Staff Meeting: On October 4th teachers received $100.00, PAC labels, a Wish List sheet, and a request form for PAC to purchase larger items. PAC served Ice Cream Sundaes and explained the PAC, including the Teacher Wish List changes.
Teacher/Classroom Wish List: PAC will coordinate lists for holiday gift ideas under $20 for teacher. The lists will be at the November Conferences in the lobby.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: November 9th and 10th PAC will provide meals for the teachers and staff. Tuesday will be a Salad Bar and Wednesday will be Chili. We need volunteers to set up at 2:15 pm each day and again to clean up at 6:00 pm. If you would like to contribute for either day, please contact either Michelle Wagner or Dawn VanWychen.
Sock Hop: scheduled for Friday, February 4th. More details to come.
Brain Bowl: scheduled for February, grades Pre-K – 2nd. More details to come.
AVON: Orders were due October 15th. Pick up your AVON order in the Storybook Room located next to the Library during Parent/Teacher Conferences on November 9th and 10th.
Market Day: profit for September was $300.23, designated to laminate the 1st graders’ memory books.
Helping Hands List: will be located in the PAC mailbox in the office.
PAC Logo: We voted on a fabulous logo for all PAC event notices.
Apparel Store Online: on the School website click on “School Store,” then click on the featured link and click on “Elementary School.” Youth and adult sizes of Freedom School apparel are available to order. The school makes 60% on each sale.
Orange T-Shirts: If anyone has any orange Pre-K and Kindergarten field trip t-shirts, please donate them to Mrs. DeGroot (preK) for students in need.
Artist in Residence: Madison artist Sharon Kilfoy is scheduled to work with our school for 2 weeks in March 2011. More information at the next meeting.
